摘要
In the power system, air arc faults are very common, in order to study the air arc characteristics, this paper mainly builds an arc generator power module and measures the output voltage waveform. And using the power module and the stepper motor based arc pulling device to build AC air arc generator, which can realize the simulation of AC air arc fault with different arc spacing for different loads under 380 V AC power supply. In order to carry out practical verification, this paper in the 40 Ω, 33 Ω, 20 Ω under the three load AC air arc fault experiments, record the arc voltage and current waveform and analysis, the AC air arc has the following characteristics: different load AC arc have obvious zero rest phenomenon; the voltage amplitude when the arc is lit is higher than it when off; the same power supply, the heavier the load, the higher the arc current. Due to the existence of arc resistance, the arc current is less than the normal operating current; the power consumed to maintain the stable burning of the arc is not large compared to the power of the circuit itself, and the series AC arc fault is easy to maintain. In this paper, it is experimentally concluded that the AC arc has the above properties to provide a basis for further research on the properties of the AC air arc.
