Ultraselective polyamide (PA) reverse osmosis membranes are a highly desired sustainable water resource. In a recent study published in Science Advances, Wang et al. used amphiphilic metal-organic framework (MOF) nanoflakes to regulate the interfacial polymerization process to build an ultraselective PA membrane showing high-performance desalination and water reuse.
