Markers of myocardial injury, such as myoglobin (Mb), are substances swiftly released into the peripheral bloodstream upon myocardial cell injury or altered cardiac activity. During the onset of acute myocardial infarction, patients experience a significant surge in serum Mb levels. Given this, precise detection of Mb is essential, necessitating the development of innovative assays to optimize detection capabilities.
