摘要
The results of the Olympic medal list, to some extent, reflect the level of top competitive sports, but also reflect the comprehensive national strength, science and technology level and health level of all countries. This paper uses the literature method and mathematical statistics method, includingdescriptive statistical analysis, time series analysis and spatial data analysis, to find out the influence of the Olympic medal factors and its characteristics, the comprehensive analysis leads to these conclusions: (1) GDP and Olympic medal quantity has a strong correlation, per capita life expectancy and the number of Olympic MEDALS are weak correlation.(2) Most top GDP ranking countries maintain a high record of winning Olympic MEDALS (3) the clustering effect of Olympic MEDALS in space is very weak.
