Effects of γ-secretase inhibitors on osteosarcoma cells

Objective To explore the effects of γ-secretase inhibitors on U2OS cells.Methods U2OS cells cultured under normoxic conditions were treated with RO4929097.The cytotoxicity was detected by cell counting Kit-8 (CCK-8) kit.The change of cell cycle and apoptosis were assayed by flow cytometry (FCM).Results The present study showed that RO4929097 has an obvious inhibition effect on U2OS cells.It had also been found that the apoptosis was aggravated while the cell cycle wasn' t disturbed by RO4929097.Conclusion The apoptosis of U2OS cells could be aggravated by γ-secretase inhibitors.
