Association of Uranyl Ions with Amino Functional Groups

Abstract We investigated the adsorption of uranyl ions (UO22+) on amino functional groups at various pH values using amino group-modified silica particles. We found that uranyl ions were associated with the amino groups by forming 1:2 uranyl amino group complexes.
