Synthesis of Highly Active Doped Graphitic Carbon Nitride using Acid‐Functionalized Precursors for Efficient Adsorption and Photodegradation of Endocrine‐Disrupting Compounds
Non-metallic functionalized melamine was used for synthesizing the oxygen, sulfur, and phosphorous doped g-C3N4. The melamine was functionalized with sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, and acetic acid for sulfur, phosphorus, and oxygen doping. XPS and other characterization techniques confirmed this doping.
