摘要
To study the flexural behavior of timber rectangle beams strengthened with near-surface mounted carbon fiber reinforced polymer(CFRP) rods,experiment on 12 specimens was carried out,including four unstrengthened specimens,four specimens strengthened with one φ6 mm CFRP rod and four specimens strengthened with one φ8 mm CFRP rod.The number of the specimens of deal and fir was half each.The results showed that compared with the specimens without being strengthened by CFRP rods,there is certain improvement in flexural capacity and ductility of the specimens strengthened with near-surface mounted CFRP rods respectively.Flexural capacity of the deal specimens was increased by 9.1%~16.9%,and that of the fir specimens was increased by 5.7%~21.6%.Based on the experimental data,the computing formulas of flexural capacity of timber rectangle beams made of deal and fir strengthened with near-surface mounted CFRP rods were presented.
