Liquid-level Sensor Using Optical Microfiber Probe

A liquid-level sensor using reflective optical microfiber probe as the sensing element is proposed and experimentally demonstrated. By monitoring the reflection wavelength shift, an ultrahigh liquid-level sensitivity of ∼153.5 nm/mm is achieved.
