摘要
• Furan fuels are clean renewable bio-fuels. • Thermal conductivity of fuels is essential for its application. • Thermal conductivity for THF, MF and DMF are reported for the first time. As renewable clean bio-fuels, furan fuels, which are usually named the second generation biodiesel, have attracted the extensive attention from the academic world. This work, the experiment research on the thermal conductivity of three furan fuels (Tetrahydrofuran, 2-Methylfuran, 2,5-Dimethylfuran) in the liquid phase has been completed, and the experimental thermal conductivity data of three chemicals are reported under the pressure up to 15 MPa for the first time. The experimental results had a combined expanded uncertainty of better than ± 2.0 % (in the 0.95 confidence level).
