摘要
As clinicians and researchers at the forefront of helping young people incorporate digital technology into their lives in healthier, more balanced ways, we are encouraged by recent attention to the effects of social media use on adolescents. The health advisory on social media use in adolescence by the American Psychological Association (APA)1 and the US Surgeon General's advisory on social media and youth mental health2 are powerful calls to action that recognise the crucial moment we are in as a society.
