Ruthenium Catalyzed Deuterium Labelling of α-Carbon in Primary Alcohol and Primary/Secondary Amine in D2O

Abstract Primary alcohols and primary/secondary amines are labelled with D atom at α-position regioselectively by means of deuterium oxide and ruthenium catalyst.
