摘要
Owning to the remarkable properties of carbon nanotube and nanofiber reinforced polymer composites such as its three dimensional morphological structural network and many more; fields in science and technology encompassing the scientific and industrial sector have paid great attention on these composite materials. Even though there are several research reports on CNTs and NFs reinforced polymer composites, there is inadequate reviews that could act as a propelling focused force for emerging researchers/researches for advanced studies towards practical implementation in high performance polymer composites/nanocomposites. Consequently, different preparation techniques, chemical modification, properties, limitations, and future prospects of CNTs, CNFs and its composite are discussed in this article.
