摘要
A set of guidelines for evaluating suitability of a water for irrigation as developed by the University of California Committee of Consultants is considered. Guidelines evaluate suitability on the basis of water analysis and water quality as related to four general problem areas affecting soils and crops. These four problem areas are: (1)Salinity; (2)permeability (soil); (3)toxicity; and (4)miscellaneous. Management alternatives to help solve these problems and three analyses of waters with interpretations for quality are given.
