摘要
Cadmium Telluride thin film has been prepared by thermal vacuum evaporation technique on soda lime glass substrate. Cadmium Telluride is very potential III-V material higher efficiency in coming days and it has been recognized as a promising material for thin film solar application. Existing material for thin film solar cell production is the p-CdTe/n-CdS/TCO/glass substrate. Two thin film of thickness 300 nm and 400nm were deposited by thermal vacuum evaporation technique. X-Ray diffractometry of these films were taken to be sure that as deposited thin films are deposited by CdTe. The peak diffraction intensity of 300nm thin film was found at 23.85 degree and for 400nm thin film peak it was found at 23.87 degree this result confirms us that the two films are CdTe.
