摘要
A new species of Cyrtodactylus previously confused with C. khasiensis is described from Western Yunnan, China, based on morphological and genetic data. The new species can be separated from all other congeners by the lack of femoral pores and a band on the nape, having a distinct ventrolateral fold, fewer precloacals in males, different relative lengths of digits of manus and pes, a patch of evidently enlarged scales between the precloacal pores and vent, and a W-shaped black stripe on the occiput. Genetically, uncorrected sequence divergences of the ND2 gene and its flanking tRNAs between the new species and investigated congeners ranged from 15.52% to 22.31%.http://www.zoobank.org/urn:lsid:zoobank.org:pub:2A6FB3EC-8168-4C58-BE99-FC18BC23F92C
