摘要
Detection strategies relying on molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs), as promising alternatives to natural receptors, have been tremendously considered in biotechnology researches in contemporary decades. The conduct originated from the cavity existence in their structure being close agreement with target species in the polymer structure. As well as, the subsequent elimination of template compounds via washing gave rise to pre-designed channel creation to accept target species. MIPs have been able to ramp up the sensitivity detection and selectivity recognition toward disparate analyts in complicated media for chemo/bioanalyses with distinguished merits including facile engineering, cost-effectiveness, high selectivity and most durability. Likewise, MIP-base materials have extremely advanced in biosensing and bioanalytical of environmental pollutants, drugs and also in biomarkers systems. The review highlights the MIP-based development in sensing processes, in particular.
