The synthesis and multicolor luminescence of lanthanide doped Vernier lutetium oxyfluorides

We report a facile hydrothermal method followed by heat treatment for synthesizing monodispersed V-LuOF nanorods through which multicolor emissions are achieved in V-LuOF:Tb³⁺,xEu³⁺.
