摘要
In article number 1600938, Din Ping Tsai, Ai-Qun Liu, and co-workers demonstrate a liquid-metal based metasurface for broadband wide-angle multifunctional polarization conversion in the different states of polarization—linear, circular, and elliptical—whereby such material is dynamically reconfigured through tuning of the L-shaped resonators. The bandwidth is larger than 60% and the angular tolerance is 45°. This is a significant milestone for metasurface applications such as smart radar and light manipulation for quantum computing and communication.
