摘要
The design of novel catalysts has been shown to be strongly dependent on their method of preparation. The objective of this research is to systematically examine the effect on metal weight loading of pH, ionic strength and concentration of metal salt in the impregnation solution. As a prototype, Ni/Al2O3 samples were prepared from nickel nitrate solution in contact with a γ-Al2O3 support. The combined effects of pH and ionic strength of the impregnation solution were demonstrated to change the amount of catalytic precursors sorbed on the support.
