Aiming at the deficiencies in the methods of light-induced superhydrophilicity and roughness-driven superhydrophilicity at present,a method of light-induced superhydrophilicity and roughness-driven superhydrophilicity synergistic effect was applied to prepare superhydrophilic films. The SiO2,TiO2and Si-Ti composite nanometer thin films were prepared on common glass substrates by sol-gel processing and dip-drawing method. The diameters of the SiO2and TiO2nanoparticles in sol were determined by dynamic light scattering analyzer(DLS).The superhydrophilic property and surface roughness of these films were characterized by contact angle measurement(CAM)and atomic force microscope(AFM),respectively. The results indicate that the SiO2nanometer thin film has roughness-driven superhydrophilicity, and the TiO2nanometer thin film has light-induced superhydrophilicity. The Si-Ti composite nanometer thin film with 20%(by mol.)silicon content has a synergistic effect of light-induced and roughness-driven superhydrophilicity, and present excellent superhydrophilic property in all weather.
