Sex steroids modulate metabolic-dysfunction associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) pathobiology. We hypothesized that testosterone therapy (TT) modulates progression of MASLD, and performed a systematic review to evaluate the efficacy of TT on liver steatosis and fibrosis.
