To the Editor We agree with Coşarcan et al [1][1] that the mechanism of action of the erector spinae plane block is tortuous and partly unknown. However, the letter by Coşarcan et al [1][1] contains several inaccuracies that need to be addressed. The authors misquote Adhikary et al [2][2] by
