摘要
The tactical radio has become one of the most reliable communications devices on the battlefield, due to its reliable long-range operation and real-time voice communication performance. The main problems in tactical radio networks are low throughput due to high overhead and low channel efficiency in the MAC protocol. In this research, MAC protocol is proposed by implementing dynamic TDMA. Applying dynamic TDMA will increase throughput and produce a reliable MAC protocol according to the needs of tactical communication operations. The simulation results show that the protocol performance is better than CSMA/CA or static TDMA.
