摘要
MXene is a popular material in the field of photoelectrochemistry (PEC) due to the advantages of excellent metal conductivity, abundant surface functional terminals, exposed terminal active metal sites, good dispersion in water and large specific surface area, etc. It is often used in photoelectricity chemical (photoelectric catalytic) water splitting, photoelectricity chemical sensor and photocatalysis. In this review, we summarize the commonly used etching materials and methods of MXenes, photoelectricity properties of MXenes on composite materials composed of different substances, and discuss the performance of MXene in photoelectricity chemistry applications. Among them, the application of photoelectric chemical sensor is introduced respectively in the application of photoelectric chemical biosensor and the application of photoelectric chemical ion detection in food and other fields. Applications of MXene in photochemical water splitting, photochemical sensor and some influential photocatalytic applications in recent years are summarized, which provides new thoughts for the preparation of MXenes and the innovation of composite materials in the future PEC devices.
