1.37 Internet Addiction and Self-Harm/Suicide: How Are They Related?

The objectives of this presentation are as follows: 1) to learn and explore the data about the association of internet addiction (IA) and suicidality; 2) to demonstrate the importance of considering IA by screening, treating, and preventing suicidality; and 3) to provide strategies, increase social awareness to guide safe and positive practice, reduce suicidal behaviors, and improve psychological well-being by educating the children, families, and caregivers.
