摘要
Oxide thin-film transistors (TFTs) are used in flat-panel displays (FPDs) because oxide semiconductors have high mobility over 10 cm 2 /Vs and can be formed uniformly on a large substrate. Although the stability of the oxide TFT has been an issue for driving organic light-emitting diode (OLED) displays, this has been improved to the same level as that of conventional low-temperature polysilicon (LTPS) TFTs. At the same time, printing technology has been developed and applied for patterning the RGB photoluminescent materials of OLEDs. This technology also enables the scalable manufacturing of OLED devices for information display with oxide TFTs. This chapter presents a highly reliable oxide TFT technology, which enables highly productive OLED display manufacturing with application of printed OLED technology.
