摘要
The paper presents a management system based on IoT devices for controlling the forklifts at a factory. The engine optimization system proposed by the authors consists of a location server, a warehouse management server, and several devices mounted on a forklift truck that are connected to an Internet of Things wireless network and which have RFID readers. The location server, using the wireless network, manages to determine the position of each device and, depending on it, and on the information it has from the warehouse management server, will send various actions that the operator of the forklift will execute, thus reducing the distances covered by the forklift and thus reducing the handling and loading times, reducing the energy consumption and optimizing the work of the forklift truck operators.
