摘要
Food protein–induced enterocolitis syndrome (FPIES) is considered to be a non–IgE-mediated food allergy, characterized by such symptoms as repeated vomiting, diarrhea, and, in severe cases, hypotension.1 Although cow's milk is the most frequent offending food around the world, solid foods can also be offending foods, and they differ depending on the geographical location.2 Hen's egg was not initially thought to be a major trigger for FPIES; however, recent findings suggest that hen's egg may be a more common FPIES trigger than previously thought.
