摘要
Anaplastic large cell lymphoma (ALCL) is a type of peripheral T cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma characterized by large anaplastic CD30+ cells.1 There are 2 clinically distinct forms of the disease identified by the presence or absence of an overexpression of anaplastic lymphoma tyrosine kinase (ALK). ALK overexpression results from a balanced translocation between chromosome 2 (ALK) and chromosome 5 (NPM), resulting in both the overexpression and the constitutive activation of the kinase domain of ALK.
