摘要
3D ordered mesoporous materials used for electrochemical CO2-to-CO conversion offer potential ways to close the carbon loop and harvest renewable energies. In their Research Article on page 12860, Z. Bai, Z. Chen, and co-workers show a trade-off between active-site exposure with structural stability and reveal an electron density reconfiguration at the Sn–Ti–O interface. The optimal nanostructured catalyst improves the half-cell energy efficiency to over 70 % for 200 hours.
